Inspired by the motivations to make a difference to Muscular Dystrophy (MD) affected disables both in Nepal and Australia, Muscular Dystrophy Association Western Australia (MDAWA) and Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Nepal (MDF – Nepal) are collaborating in an event named "Trek in Nepal 2008" being operated between October 28th – November 12th 2008 in Langtang Valley of Langtang National Park in central north region of Nepal . The trek is designed and operated with the noble cause of raising vital funds that will be utilized for Community Development Program of MDAWA in Perth, Australia and Rehabilitation Centre building of MDF- Nepal in Kathmandu. MDF- Nepal encourages all to please give their big hands in this noble deeds of fund raising event, extends high appreciations all well-wishers and sponsors, gives thanks to Ms. Lauren Brisco and team from MDAWA.
