One Day Observation Program For Primary Rehabilitation Therapy(PRT) Trainees of HRDC.

MDF-Nepal organized a one day observation program for primary rehabilitation Therapy (PRT) trainees of the hospital and Rehabilitation Centre (HRDC) on 12 th of August 2009 at the MDF- Nepal centre in Kopundole, Lalitpur.

26 PRT trainees along with one trainer of HRDC attended it. Mrs. Karuna Pokhrel, Board Member of MDF-Nepal, formally opened the program. Mr. Anil K. Upadhyay, General Secretary, described on MDF_Nepal, its vision, mission, objectives and future plan.

Mr. Bidyanand Chaudhary Physiotherapist (MDF-Nepal)gave orientation about physiotherapy on MD. In addition, to acquiring knowledge regarding the theoretical importance of physiotherapy trainees learned about the practical aspect of physiotherapy in handling MD disabilities during the three stage of progression. PRT trainees are playing referral roles to in different community and society.

At last, Mr. Santosh K. Bhattarai (Program officer) summed up the activities, gave the closing remarks and vote of thanks.
