2nd National Level Health Camp for MD users organized
The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation – Nepal organized a daylong second health camp on 20 September 2008 (04 Ashwin 2065), Saturday at Agrawal Sewa Kendra, Kamalpokhari.
A team of medical and health professionals like Prof. Dr. J. P. Agrawal (Neuro Specialist), Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chokhani (Chest Specialist), Dr. Rabindra Shrestha (Neurologist), Dr. Rohit Pokhrel (Orthopedician), Dr. Nandita Bajaj (Pediatrician), Dr. Claudia (Physiotherapist), and Dr. Gunter (Pediatric Neurologist), Ms. Mita Rana (Psychologist), Ms. Reena (Nutician), 10 junior medical doctors, and a team of 11 Physiotherapists voluntarily rendered their precious services. Almost 75 MD sufferers arrived from the various parts of the nation benefited at this full day mega event.
The corporate supports were offered by Agrawal Sewa Kendra with fee space, Lions Club of Kathmandu Rajdhani with free of cost for ECG, and various free medicines were offered by pharmaceuticals producers like S R Drugs Laboratories (P.) Ltd. , Chemi Drug Industries (P.) Ltd., Arya Pharma Lab (P.) LTd. and Amtech Med (P.) Ltd.
Earlier to the beginning of the program, Mr. J. P. Agrawal, President of MDF – Nepal welcoming all attendees outlined the objective of this program in line with the vision/mission of MDF – Nepal.
