“Genetic and Psychological counseling to MD family Members and MD carriers."

On Ashar 13 (Wednesday), 2066 / May 27, 2009 Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (MDF-Nepal) organized one full days training on “Genetic and Psychological Counseling program” at its Centre located at FALCHA the Meeting point, Babar Mahal, Kathamandu.

Chief Guest Ms Bindha Hadda, Secretary, Ministry of Woman Children and Social Welfare, Kathmandu inaugurated the program which was chaired by Mr. J.P. Agrawal Present, Muscular Dystrophy Foundation-Nepal (MDF-Nepal).

 This aim of this training was to boost the sense of positive psychology and motivation in strengthening interlink/networking.  In accordance with the main theme, the objective was the transfer of knowledge, skills and attitudes, and genetic / psychological counseling. The main slogan was "MD is not a burden".

 This training was supported by Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare, Singhdarbar Lalitpur.
