3rd orientation program for Primary Rehabilitation Therapy  (PRT)

MDF- Nepal organized a half-day orientation program for Primary Rehabilitation Therapy (PRT) trainees of the Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (HRDC) on the 22nd May 2007 at the MDF- Nepal center in Kopundole, Lalitpur.
20 PRT trainees along with one trainer of HRDC attended. Mr. Anil Upadhayay extended a welcome speech, spoke on vision, mission and objectives of MDF – Nepal & described the managerial aspects of MDF- Nepal.
Dr. Ujwal Gautam made a presentation on the scientific/clinical cum genetic aspects of muscular dystrophy.
  
All participants in addition to acquiring knowledge regarding the theoretical importance of physiotherapy, also learnt about the practical aspects of physiotherapy in handling MD disabilities in their rehabilitation from Mr. Jaganath Maharjan, instructor physiotherapist and physiotherapist.

Mr. Pranil Upadhayaya, consultant program officer of MDF – Nepal delivered the vote of thanks to all trainees and trainers and insisted all trainees for the best possible application of the acquired knowledge and skills in their professionals career.               

This orientation program was organized with the financial support of the Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City.
